Who can benefit from gymnastics training? Everyone.
When I say gymnastics, it conjurs images of vaults, iron cross or uneven bars and people flying in the air. We use gymnastics to develop unmatched stabilization skill. There is no other sport that develops upperbody strength better or teaches body awareness than gymnastics. How about an L-Sit to develop core strength?
Who would benefit from a better sense of balance or a stronger more integrated upperbody? Everyone.
Today we did ring dips. The rings were about 12 inches off of the ground. Close enough to the ground and a wall to let people learn to stabilize with minimal risk of injury.
